In this sculpture, the body appears suspended in a moment of maximum transformation. The figure is no longer compact matter, but tension, momentum, fragment: a presence that seems to transcend its own decay to convert it into movement.
The metal opens into filaments, ribs, and voids, revealing an unstable form, almost consumed by the energy coursing through it. The body's gesture, reaching forward and upward, speaks of a primordial impulse: the attempt to overcome the limits of matter, to free oneself from gravity, form, and immobility.
Vikara evokes change, alteration, and transformation of form. But here, change isn't just dissolution; it's also the origin of a new harmony, a force that breaks down the body to reveal its deepest essence.
The work thus becomes an image of inevitable transformation: what shatters does not disappear, but changes state. It remains as a trace, as an impulse, as energy in motion.
Sculpture made entirely by hand through a welding and composition process.
